How to Create Page Transition Effects

When you ENTER or EXIT your web pages you can enter these codes and have very neat effects take place on the pages. Notice one is for ENTERing the page and one is for EXITing the page. You can use both, at the same time, or either one, by themselves.

These META codes MUST go between the open head (<head>) tag and the close head (</head>) tag.

<meta http-equiv="Page-Enter" content="RevealTrans (Duration=3, Transition=23)">

<meta http-equiv="Page-Exit" content="RevealTrans (Duration=2, Transition=23)">

You only need to change two variables in the code above. Edit the 'Transition' number (listed below) to vary the type of transition (also below) for the page. The 'Duration' is the time it will take to change from one page to the next in approximate seconds.

The lines above are both set to create a Random Effect (23) on entering and exiting the page. The page you are reading has both of these lines of code (go back and then return here to see them in action). Don't overdo them, if they are on too many of your pages they become annoying. Put them on your index page and go from there.

Note: Transitions DO NOT work with Frames.
